N2 - This systematic review analyzes the impact of Lean Manufacturing tools on the productivity of companies in the metal-mechanical sector. The PRISMA method was used, which was carried out, resulting in 14 articles. The database used for the review was Scopus and the results showed that Lean has a positive impact on productivity, since there were indicators that showed significant changes such as: a reduction in production time, increase in operational efficiency, reduction of defective parts, and inventory reduction. However, its success depends on factors such as training and adaptation to specific contexts. Some limitations that were found in the review were: the majority of articles were from the continent of Asia and Europe, and all the articles were from research published in the English language. Finally, some suggestions are provided for future reviews that develop the same topic.
