Resumen

The aim of this work is to analyse the treatment of information on climate change in some alternative media in Lima. A content analysis has been carried out on the various news or reports on this topic (in the context of Peru), specifically on the media: Servindi, which has analysed information from 2023 and 2024; as well as Wayka on a report from 2019. The main categories have been systematised: the role of State entities, community actions, problems affecting the population, the holding of events, the concealment of information on the problem of pollution by the Government. It is concluded that alternative media disseminate objective and truthful information that is of interest to the community on the problems of climate change.
