Resumen

In the national context, public management cannot be treated as private management due to their critical differences in the performance measurement, the management discretion and the sources of legitimacy. One of the sources of legitimacy in public management is the citizen to serve, so it is the purpose of this document to present the science of design as an approach that allows taking the sociological factor as a starting point for public management in a country as socially diverse as Peru.
