For that purpose, the psychometric analysis of the test of Yoder (2014) who characterizes the socioemotional competencies of the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning was performed to promote pedagogical reflection based on the teacher's actions in the classroom. A total of 380 teachers belonging to the seven Local Educational Management Units of Metropolitan Lima participated. Validity and reliability were determined, as well as the interpretation scales. The results show statistically significant coefficients and the reorganization of the items respecting their content and the original dimensions of the test. The most relevant conclusion is that this study provides a measurement instrument adapted to the sociocultural reality of Peruvian teachers. In addition, it will allow research in the field of teacher emotion and the design of training programs for in-service teachers.
