Abstract

This article aims to address the origins of the university crisis in Cusco. The analysis consists of the University's operation and deterioration, the emergence of Ande, a radical group, from alternative spaces such as the public University and the magazine Kosko. Also, the development of the university strike of 1927 and its consequences. The crisis of this institution was due to the economic abandonment of the State that aggravated its several problems, denounced by the new generation of young students, which led to recess and institutional reorganization.
