Abstract

Introduction: Metabolic syndrome is defined as an accumulation of various disorders, which together increase the risk that an individual will develop cardiovascular disease. The development of actions specifically aimed at preventing and combating metabolic syndrome within our society is critical due to the increase in cases worldwide.
