Escritor, investigador, docente universitario y promotor cultural. Es doctor en Filología con mención "cum laude" por la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, España). Ha publicado más de veinticinco libros de investigación, creación literaria y textos universitarios. Actualmente trabaja como docente investigador en la Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, coordinador del grupo de investigación Comunicación, Cultura y Sociedad Digital (COMUNICADIGITAL) y editor de Lemma: revista de comunicación.
